Training for future lecturers in the camp VEUS Print

On May 6-8 there was an on-site training for future lecturers in the camp VEUS, within which teachers shared their experience with young specialists.

One of the teachers’ tasks was to provide students with information on educational programmes for further work with children in the camp. But greater attention was paid not only to technical fundamentals such as programme development and analysis, but also to the principals of designing robots.

One of the goals includes the development of understanding the bases of children’s psychology, pedagogy, and teaching among young specialists, as well as peculiarities of working with children in primary and secondary schools. One of the main tasks of the experienced teachers consists in developing students’ skills of working with children, as well as skills of searching for the extra information individually and applying it into practice.

In the course of training all the goals were reached, and the result was not only acquired knowledge and priceless life experience, but also lots of pleasure.

The next stage of the course of preparing teachers to work with children is a meeting between students and teachers just before the beginning of the shift in children’s camp and final tuning and settlement of all the arisen questions, namely on June 22, July 17, August 5.

At present young specialist share their impressions, leave feedback about the performed work. Contacts with them are maintained via e-mail, forum and skype in order to provide continuous support.
