The project SummerVeus is developing. Last summer, in July, there was a successful 3-week children camp session, during which the children carried out experiments with Lego NXT 2.0 robot construction kit and studied the fundamentals of programming. There will be 3 camp sessions held this summer, from June till August.

The training programme will be supplemented by a course on information security, the use of the Internet and the skilful use of license programmes, which will help children learn how to search for, select, organise and use the information to achieve their targets. They will also learn how to block potentially dangerous and unnecessary content.

There are changes in the software: programming environment KuMir is replaced by the same user-friendly but more functional environment Scratch. Now children have an opportunity to play with different objects, modify their appearance, toss them across the screen, set up the forms of interaction between objects. Thus, children will have a good time meanwhile studying the basic concepts and means of programming used in the “ordinary” programming languages such as Visual Basic, C, Java.

The website summerveus.com is refreshed. There are changes in the design of the home page, structure and content of the site.
